Star Video was created by me, David DeFlumere, its current owner/operator, in 1983.

Since becoming self-employed in 1977, I have been working with customers on a one to one basis. I attribute my success in customer service to paying attention to details, and producing for the client.

There are a variety of skills required to be a successful videographer, and I feel fortunate and confident that I can get the job done. Back in 1983, consumer video was in its infancy, but my background in electronics made videography a natural for me.


Star Video is truly a business that was created from the enjoyment I have always had for the hobby of electronics. This is evident in our methods and equipment, some of which has actually been built by me. These unique tools and procedures provide excellent viewing angles of the couple during the ceremony, while at the same time are unobtrusive and respectful of the ceremony itself.
